Role Description This role is an on-site Before and After School Teacher role based in Orlando, FL. The Before and After School Teacher will provide a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment for school-age children during before- and after-school hours, as well as seasonal break programs. Responsibilities include planning and leading age-appropriate activities, supporting homework and enrichment, and fostering social-emotional skills through positive guidance and role modeling. The teacher will communicate regularly with families and school partners, maintain classroom and program safety standards, and follow all company policies and licensing regulations. The role also involves preparing and organizing materials, supervising arrival and departure, and collaborating with teammates and leadership to ensure high-quality program delivery. Qualifications Strong foundation in Education and Teaching, with experience supporting school-age children in group settings. Ability to design and implement age-appropriate Lesson Planning that supports academic, social, and emotional development. Effective Communication skills for interacting with children, families, colleagues, and school partners. Experience Training or mentoring children in skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, and positive behavior. High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework or degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Development, or a related field preferred. Ability to meet state and local licensing requirements, including background checks and health/safety clearances. Capability to lift and engage with children, participate in indoor and outdoor activities, and maintain a safe, organized environment. Reliability, punctuality, and flexibility to support program schedules aligned with before- and after-school hours.
