Job Description

Elementary School Teacher Position Overview Central Christian Academy is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Elementary School Teacher to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about educating and inspiring young learners while fostering academic excellence, strong character, and a love for learning within a Christ-centered environment. This role provides a unique opportunity to positively influence students during their foundational years by helping them develop academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. We are looking for an educator who is committed to creating an engaging classroom experience and partnering with families to support student success. Essential Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with grade-level standards and curriculum objectives. Teach core elementary subjects, including Reading, Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and Bible. Create a safe, organized, and positive classroom environment that promotes student learning and growth. Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities. Monitor and assess student progress through ongoing evaluations and provide timely feedback. Maintain accurate academic records and communicate student performance with parents and guardians. Incorporate educational technology and digital resources to enhance classroom instruction. Collaborate with fellow teachers, administration, and families to support student achievement and well-being. Establish and maintain effective classroom management practices that encourage responsibility, respect, and self-discipline. Participate in faculty meetings, professional development activities, school events, and other duties as assigned. Serve as a positive role model by demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and Christian values. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field required. Florida Teaching Certificate or eligibility for certification preferred. Previous elementary teaching experience preferred. Knowledge of elementary curriculum, instructional best practices, and child development. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively integrate technology into instruction. Commitment to working collaboratively with colleagues and families.
