Job Description

We are hiring an enthusiastic and passionate Middle School Teacher to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating engaging and interactive lessons, providing individualized instruction to students, assessing student progress, and developing a positive learning environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to foster a positive relationship with middle school students and their families. The Middle School teacher will be a Christian who will inspire students to learn the knowledge, skills and subject matter of assigned area contributing to their development as mature Christians, consistent with Radiant Life Academy's philosophies, vision and mission statement. This is a full time, 10-month contract (August-May), hourly position.
Responsibilities:
Develop lesson plans and instructional materials following the Abeka and BJU curriculum guidelines. Instruct students in the areas of reading, writing, math, science, social studies, or other related topics. Develop and implement assessment strategies to measure student progress. Maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment. Guide students on academic and social matters. Communicate with parents regarding student progress. Collaborate with other teachers and administrators to develop innovative instructional strategies.
