Job Description

HIRING FOR THE 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR!
This position requires a background screening through the Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse; the link below is provided to help you understand the screening process and requirements as required by state law.

//info.flclearinghouse.com Technology Teacher (Elementary/Middle School) •This is a permanent school-year position (Aug - May/June), and does not extend through summer. •This position is scheduled for approximately 8 hours per week.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide kind, creative, and positive experiences for our students Observe children's interest and work with co-workers to develop creative ideas for engaging activities Supervise children at all times, ensuring their safety and well-being in both indoor and outdoor environments Develop weekly lessons Communicate with parents when needed Teach typing skills to students
REQUIREMENTS
Must have a Bachelor's degree . Preference would be in education and/or technology. Knowledge and experience with Chromebooks Must have experience working with children, thorough knowledge or up-to-date technology. Must be authorized to work in the United States. Must be able to pass federal and state background screens. Must be able to pass drug screen. Is able to easily bend, squat, lift, run, climb, sit on floor for extended periods and carry up to 50 pounds Willing to align teaching style with Montessori Principles
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of Go Guardian. Knowledge of Follette Library Management System A passion for working with children and families in partnership Appreciates and responds positively to guidance and feedback from team members Willingness to commit to the school for a minimum of one school year Is reliable, committed, energetic, patient, and detail-oriented Independent, creative, fun-loving and kind Montessori training a plus Additional education a plus Teaching experience a plus
