The position is for PART TIME or

FULL TIME

for the right candidate. This position is Monday to Friday from 12pm to 6pm. or 9am-6pm. There are occasional days/weeks that would require full time for the part time candidate. ALL applicants MUST have a High School Diploma or GED and must be 18 years or older. 40 hours DCF childcare training, CPR & First Aid, CDA or equivalent Certification, CDL with passenger endorsement is recommended but not required. Must be able to get a CLEAR Level 2 Background screening prior to start date. We can't wait to hear from you! Serious applicants only please. Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the requirements of the school's curriculum
• Create a positive and engaging learning environment for students
• Teach various subjects, such as math, science, English, and social studies
• Use a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
• Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive educational experience
• Communicate regularly with parents to discuss student progress and address any concerns
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
• Valid teaching certification or license
• Experience working with students in a classroom setting
• Strong knowledge of the subject matter being taught
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively manage a classroom and maintain discipline
• Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities Skills (at least 3 out of the following):
• Theater experience
• Babysitting or daycare experience
• Classroom management skills
• Sports coaching experience
• Behavior management techniques
• Special education training or experience
• Christian counseling background
