History Teacher:

Develop and organize a history curriculum for the grade/s assigned that meets school standards. Establish standards of student performance which can be quantitatively and qualitatively evaluated. Develop knowledge and skills essential to effectively teach students in the grade assigned. Promote students' critical and creative thinking and analysis and develop lesson plans and instructional materials. Plan and conduct activities for a balanced program of instruction, demonstration and work time that provides students with opportunities to observe, question and investigate. Requirements of the

History Teacher:

Bachelor's degree in history (or related field) At least 1-3 years of teaching experience at the K-12 level Interest to contribute to school community outside of the classroom as an athletic coach, student advisor, student club leader, or otherwise preferred Geographic flexibility is preferred Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
