Job Description

Part-Time Certified Instructor - Afterschool Program Mentorship Academy Advance Training Institute Inc. (MAATI) Mentorship Academy Advance Training Institute Inc. (MAATI) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to uplifting youth and underserved communities through mentoring, academic enrichment, college and career readiness, and workforce development. We are seeking a dedicated, certified educator to serve as a Part-Time Afterschool Program Instructor . This individual will deliver high-quality academic instruction aligned with Georgia Standards of Excellence, support students in core subject areas, and foster a positive, engaging learning environment. Instructors will work collaboratively with site coordinators, tutors, and enrichment staff to implement structured lessons and individualized academic support as outlined in the BOOST program framework. The ideal candidate will be a state-certified teacher with demonstrated classroom experience, strong classroom management skills, and a commitment to educational equity and youth development. Familiarity with project-based learning and afterschool enrichment is strongly preferred. Required Knowledge and Skills:
Classroom or youth facilitation skills Strong interpersonal and behavior management skills Familiarity with curriculum delivery and group instruction
Minimum Requirements:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent experience) 1-2 years of experience working with youth in group settings
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Deliver structured lessons or activities aligned with program goals Manage classroom behavior and promote a positive environment Track student attendance and participation Collaborate with other staff and communicate student needs
