Private Middle School Teacher Opportunities Redefining the Middle School Experience Small Classes | Grade-Level Standards | Enrichment-Based Instruction | Gwinnett County, GA | Fall 2026 A new private middle school in Gwinnett County, Georgia, opening Fall 2026, is accepting interest from certified, student-centered educators for founding teaching opportunities. Our school is intentionally small, with enrollment capped at 13 students per grade . Teachers will teach grade-level standards in their core subject area across grades 6-8 while having the time and space to know students well, support individual learning needs, provide enrichment, and help students grow with confidence. We are building a better middle school experience — one where students are seen, challenged, supported, inspired, and prepared to excel. We are seeking capable, creative, and committed teachers who want to help shape a strong, positive learning environment from the ground up. Our goal is to build a professional school community where teachers are respected, valued, and equipped to do their best work. This private middle school will offer a standards-based academic program enriched through projects, discussion, hands-on learning, leadership development, and real-world connections. Teachers should be able to meet students where they are while maintaining high expectations and helping each student move forward. We want our teachers to want to come to school, and we want our students to be excited to attend. What We Offer Competitive teacher salary Small class sizes capped at 13 students per grade Respectful, professional school environment Monthly benefits stipend of $400 for full-time teachers Paid time off Opportunity to help shape a meaningful middle school experience Enrichment-focused learning model Mission-driven founding faculty opportunity Teaching Areas May Include Reading Specialist / ELA Teacher — Orton-Gillingham training or certification preferred Math Teacher Science / Social Studies Teacher — teaches both grade-level Science and Social Studies standards across grades 6-8 using an alternating Week A / Week B schedule For the combined Science/Social Studies Teacher role, the teacher will teach Science during Week A and Social Studies during Week B . Candidates should hold a valid teaching certification and have the content knowledge, confidence, and instructional flexibility to teach both subject areas across grades 6-8. Dual certification or demonstrated experience teaching both Science and Social Studies is preferred. Compensation will reflect the scope and responsibilities of the position. Ideal Candidates Should Have experience teaching middle school students Be able to teach grade-level standards across grades 6-8 Create engaging lessons that support mastery, critical thinking, and academic growth Differentiate instruction to support individual student needs, strengths, and learning styles Provide academic support when needed while also offering enrichment and challenge Enrich instruction through projects, discussion, hands-on learning, leadership development, and real-world connections Value small class sizes and relationship-based teaching Maintain high expectations while creating a positive classroom environment Be student-centered, creative, flexible, and dependable Believe in helping students grow academically, socially, and personally Want to be part of a respectful, mission-driven private school community Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree required Current teaching certification required for core teaching positions Middle school teaching experience required Ability to teach in person in Gwinnett County, Georgia beginning Fall 2026 Experience in private school, public school, reading instruction, small school settings, enrichment instruction, or project-based learning is a plus.
