Seasonal, TemporaryPosition OverviewCamp Catapult is seeking a strong classroom leader who can confidently step into an established classroom environment and begin teaching immediately with minimal coaching or onboarding. Curriculum, lesson plans, and instructional materials are provided. We are looking for an educator who possesses excellent classroom management skills, can build positive relationships with scholars, and can create a joyful and structured learning environment.

Key Responsibilities Deliver daily lessons and activities using provided curriculum and instructional materials Establish and maintain strong classroom management systems Create a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment Support scholars academically, socially, and emotionally Facilitate small group and whole group instruction Participate in camp activities, special events, and enrichment experiences Communicate professionally with leadership and team members Maintain accurate attendance and classroom records as requestedQualifications Previous teaching, camp, youth development, or educational experience required Strong classroom management skills are required Ability to lead a classroom independently with minimal supervision Ability to build strong relationships with children and families Positive attitude, flexibility, and willingness to collaborate Passion for supporting children and creating joyful learning experiencesPreferred Qualifications Certified teacher or current education professional Experience working in elementary or middle school settings Experience with summer programming, enrichment, or after-school programsWhat We Are Looking ForWe are looking for someone who can hit the ground running. The ideal candidate is confident, organized, proactive, and able to immediately step into a classroom and lead instruction using the curriculum provided. This individual should require minimal coaching and be comfortable managing scholar behavior while creating a culture of joy, belonging, and high expectations.
