Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Project-Based Learning (PBL) Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate should be a team player with a deep commitment to student engagement, an innovative mindset, and experience in designing and implementing hands-on, interdisciplinary projects. You will play a pivotal role in guiding students through meaningful, inquiry-based learning experiences that connect project content to real-world applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, plan, and implement PBL units that align with curriculum standards and foster student creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking Create a student-centered project environment that encourages inquiry, experimentation, and reflective learning Collaborate with other educators to integrate PBL across subjects, ensuring a cohesive and interdisciplinary approach Assess student learning through authentic assessments, including project presentations, portfolios, and reflective practices Provide students with continuous feedback and support, fostering a growth mindset and encouraging self-directed learning Maintain open communication with students, parents, and colleagues to support student success and development
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field; Master's degree preferred Valid teaching credential or certification relevant to the position preferred Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to adapt to a flexible and dynamic learning setting Passion for engaging students in meaningful, real-world learning experiences Proven experience with PBL or similar innovative instructional methods Strong understanding of project design, inquiry-based learning, and authentic assessment strategies Robotics background and interest a
