Job Description
The Adel DeSoto Minburn Middle School is seeking a Math teacher for the 2026-2027 school year to join our growing district. This position will be a .5 FTE at the Middle School located in Adel. ADM MS educates approximately 350 students and shares the complex with the High School. This teacher will teach 7th and 8th grade Math and is required to be qualified to teach Algebra. The Middle School has a progressive, energetic, and collaborative staff and lives by the motto, Relationships, Relationships, Relationships as they value the connections they make with each student and their drive to have ALL students LEARN. The ideal candidate has a passion for middle school students and increasing their skills in math. Applicants must be highly collaborative, demonstrate a passion for math education, and a high interest in middle school students. The ADM staff uses the Professional Learning Community model, and this team member would join a highly collaborative PLC that strives for high levels of student achievement and excellence.
Requirements:
Valid Iowa Teacher License
Math license for teaching both 7th and 8th-grade students
High School Algebra endorsement is required
