Full Time Qualifications Born-again Christian, aligned with JCA's Statement of Faith & Pillars of Truth Active member/regular attendee of n local church Holds an Iowa teaching license Personal Profile (All JCA Staff) Models a Biblical worldview and Christlike character Spiritually mature, committed to prayer, Scripture, and unity in fellowship Demonstrates joy, hard work, and a teachable spirit Displays professionalism, optimism, and love for children Respects authority, avoids gossip, and handles conflict biblically Professional Profile Supports JCA's mission, statement of faith, and code of conduct Dependable, flexible, detail-oriented, and a team player Effective communicator with students, staff, and parents Competent in classroom management, planning, and instruction Proficient with basic technology and organizational tasks Engaged in professional growth and accountability Responsibilities Provide classroom instruction in assigned subject areas for middle school grade students. Prepare and submit weekly lesson plans Use varied instructional strategies to meet student needs Assess student progress and provide timely feedback Maintain a clean, orderly classroom environment Attend staff meetings and participate in school events Communicate effectively with parents and staff Support the mission of JCA with joy, diligence, and professionalism Perform other tasks as assigned by the Head of Schools Be a part of something bigger than yourself - join JCA and help shape the future of our students and community, to the Glory of God!
