Aug 31, 2026 Job Description St. Paul Lutheran Church & School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Middle School Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. We are looking for an educator who is committed to academic excellence, Christian values, and fostering a nurturing classroom where every child is valued as a unique child of God. The ideal candidate will create a safe, engaging, and faith-centered learning environment that supports both academic growth and interpersonal development. This teacher will partner closely with families and school leadership to help students thrive spiritually, socially, emotionally, and academically. Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging instruction aligned with approved curriculum Teach core elementary subjects including: Language Arts Reading Mathematics Science Social Studies Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs Monitor, assess, and document student progress and achievement Maintain clear and consistent communication with students, parents, and administration Foster a positive classroom culture rooted in Christian values Support students' spiritual, emotional, and academic development Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to support student success Qualifications Bachelor's degree required Valid teaching license required Previous teaching experience preferred Strong classroom management and communication skills Passion for working in a faith-based educational environment Position Details Full-time Contract position 8-hour shift Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Life insurance Health Savings Account (HSA) Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Paid time off Parental leave Retirement plan Professional development assistance Why Join St. Paul?
