JOB GOAL
Guide students toward the fulfillment of their potential for intellectual, social, emotional, psychological growth and maturation. Provide a quality education necessary for students to be successful in life.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Bachelor's degree or higher. 2. A valid Idaho State Certificate with appropriate endorsement(s)
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Establish and maintain an effective learning environment in the classroom. 2. Develop and teach classes within established curricular guidelines to meet student needs. 3. Provide individual guidance, assigns activities and provides instruction in such a way as to enhance student education and development. 4. Teach and model ethical behavior in the classroom. 5. Establish and maintain guidelines for proper student conduct and discipline in the classroom. 6. Will remain with and supervise students in the classroom or other assigned areas during all times when responsible for or assigned to the supervision of students. 7. Prepare reports, records, lists and all other documentation required or appropriate to assigned responsibilities. 8. Attend and participate in meetings as required or appropriate 9. Keep building administration informed of classroom activities and problems. 10. Follow established policies/procedures for the school and the district. 11. Act ethically and confidentially in all aspects of employment. 12. Know and follow school district policy and chain of command.
