Glen Ellyn School District 41 Glen Ellyn District 41 is Seeking a Special Olympics Intramurals(Timesheet $40 per hour)(2 Positions)
Responsibilities:
Lead practices and skill development for student-athletes Promote inclusion, teamwork, and sportsmanship in a supportive environment Ensure student safety and provide supervision during practices and events Communicate with families and coordinate with Special Olympics staff Attend and support athletes at Special Olympics competitions and activities
Qualifications:
Experience working with students with intellectual or developmental disabilities Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills Patience, empathy, and a commitment to inclusive education and athletics Ability to follow Special Olympics guidelines and school policies Coaching or teaching experience preferred, but not required
