Reports To:
 Building Principal Position Summary Willow Creek Middle School is seeking a highly motivated and student-centered Math Teacher to teach Math 6 and Math 7 courses beginning in the 2026-2027 school year. The ideal candidate will create an engaging, supportive classroom environment and deliver high-quality mathematics instruction aligned to Indiana Academic Standards. This teacher will collaborate with colleagues to support student growth and contribute positively to the school culture. Essential Responsibilities Teach Math 6 and Math 7 courses aligned to state and district standards Develop and deliver engaging, standards-based lessons using a variety of instructional strategies Use formative and summative assessment data to guide instruction and improve student outcomes Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners Implement research-based instructional practices in mathematics Establish and maintain a positive classroom culture focused on respect, responsibility, and growth Integrate appropriate instructional technology to enhance student learning Collaborate with grade-level and content teams on curriculum, pacing, and common assessments Communicate regularly with students, families, and staff regarding student progress Participate in professional learning and ongoing school improvement efforts Support the school's mission, values, and student-centered approach Qualifications Valid Indiana Teaching License in Mathematics Grades 5-9 or Grades 5-12.
