FORTVILLE'S BEST AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM
After School Program Coach Position Summary Fortville's Best After School Program is seeking energetic, dependable, and positive team members who enjoy working with elementary-aged children. Our After School Program Counselors help create a safe, fun, and structured environment where students can learn, grow, and develop leadership skills after the school day ends. Essential Responsibilities Supervise and engage students in daily activities. Assist students with homework and academic support. Lead games, enrichment activities, crafts, and recreational programs. Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times. Serve as a positive role model and mentor for students. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment. Assist with student check-in and check-out procedures. Communicate professionally with parents, staff, and school personnel. Enforce program rules and behavior expectations in a positive manner. Participate in staff meetings and training sessions. Assist with special events, field trips, and school break camps as needed. Perform additional duties assigned by program leadership. Qualifications Minimum age of 16 years old (18+ preferred). Experience working with children is preferred. Strong communication and leadership skills. Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team. Dependable, punctual, and professional. Ability to manage groups of children in both indoor and outdoor settings. CPR/First Aid Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain). Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and participate in physical activities with children. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Schedule Monday-Friday Afternoon hours during the school year Additional opportunities available during school breaks and summer camp Compensation Pay based on experience. Why Join Fortville's Best?
