Sixth grade is a key transitional year as students grow academically, socially, and spiritually, and we are looking for a teacher who is excited to guide and mentor students during this important stage of development. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a love for Christian education, strong classroom leadership, and a commitment to academic excellence grounded in a biblical worldview. Primary Responsibilities Model Christ-like character in words, actions, and relationships Integrate biblical truth and a Christian worldview throughout daily instruction Plan and deliver engaging instruction in Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies Utilize instructional practices aligned with Indiana Academic Standards Establish a safe, structured, and positive classroom culture Maintain accurate grades, records, and consistent communication with parents Participate in faculty meetings, chapel services, school events, and professional development opportunities Collaborate positively with administration, faculty, and families Qualifications Personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ Agreement with the school's Statement of Faith and educational philosophy Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related field preferred Indiana teaching license preferred ACSI certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred Previous upper elementary or middle school teaching experience preferred To Apply Please submit a resume and cover letter to: Katrina Lawrence, Principal
