The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between faith and reason, fostering a classroom environment where students excel in Math and Integrated Sciences while growing in their Catholic identity. As a middle school teacher, you aren't just teaching formulas and the scientific method; you are guiding young adolescents through a critical stage of cognitive and spiritual development. Key Responsibilities 1. Academic Excellence Design and implement engaging lesson plans for grades 6-8 following the Indiana State standards. Instruct students in mathematical concepts ranging from foundational ratios to complex equations. Lead hands-on laboratory experiments that illustrate the laws of physics, chemistry, and biology. Differentiate instruction to support various learning styles, ensuring both struggling students and high-achievers are challenged. 2. Spiritual Leadership Integrate Catholic Social Teachings and Christian values into the curriculum. Begin each class with prayer and participate actively in school liturgies and retreats. Model the Gospel values of compassion, integrity, and respect in all interactions. 3. Classroom Management & Administration Maintain a safe, organized, and respectful classroom culture.
