Job Description

Middle School Social Studies Teacher - New Castle Community School Corporation 2026-2027 School Year New Castle Community School Corporation is seeking a qualified and student-focused Social Studies Teacher to join our middle school team.
Qualifications:
Valid Indiana Social Studies teaching license. Individuals must be properly licensed and meet Highly Qualified guidelines
Certification:
Grade Level 5-12 Social Studies/Historical Perspectives Content Strong classroom management and communication skills Ability to engage and support diverse learners
Responsibilities:
Deliver standards-based Social Studies instruction Monitor student progress and communicate with families Collaborate with staff and support school initiatives
