Job Description

Leap Frog Academy is more than a childcare center, we're a learning center with a family environment. We utilize a full, engaging and educational experience that is tailored to each age group from infants to school-age. We are blessed with a close-knit, tenured team that operates like a family. Our staff fundamentally love working with children and enjoy a special connection with our children, families and each other. We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Nursery Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe and stimulating learning environment for our students, developing lesson plans, and providing instruction in basic academic, social, and emotional skills. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching young children, excellent communication skills, and the ability to think on their feet.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a curriculum that is appropriate for the age group of the students. Create a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. Provide a variety of materials and resources for children to explore, manipulate, and use both in learning activities and in imaginative play. Communicate with parents about their child's progress. Observe and evaluate each child's performance, behavior, social development, and physical health. Encourage children to interact with each other in positive ways.

$13.00 - $14.00 per hour
