POSITION OVERVIEW
Saint Bridget School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic middle school classroom teacher for the 2026-2027 academic year. Seeking candidates who are passionate about teaching, aligned with Catholic values, and committed to inspiring young learners through engaging instruction and a nurturing presence.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Strives to achieve the goals of Catholic education Embraces and models the Catholic philosophy of education.
Promotes and lives gospel values and Catholic moral teaching. Upholds the doctrinal teachings of the Catholic Church and implements teachings into lesson plans. Provides opportunities for faith development of students in the classroom to prepare them for life in today's Church and society. Instruction & Curriculum Plan and implement student-centered lessons aligned with Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks and school curriculum. Use diverse instructional strategies to meet varying learning needs. Foster real-world connections to support deeper understanding. Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly. Integrate technology (Google Classroom, FACTS
SIS, MAP
testing) Classroom Management & Student Support Establish a safe, structured, and welcoming classroom culture. Promote positive behavior and active participation. Differentiate instruction and provide individualized support. Reinforce school values and student ownership of learning. Collaboration & Professional Growth Work with colleagues and administrators on curriculum planning and student support Participate in professional development and school initiatives. Share ideas, resources, and best practices Actively engage in continuous professional growth Communication & Record-Keeping Maintain accurate academic and attendance records using
FACTS SIS
Communicate consistently with families through conferences and digital updates. Use Google Classroom and other tools to streamline learning.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree required, master's preferred. Valid MA teaching certification strongly preferred. Minimum of 2 years of classroom teaching experience (Catholic school experience a plus) Strong instructional and classroom management skills Familiarity with educational technology platforms Commitment to Catholic education and student formation Willingness to contribute to school life and take on responsibilities as needed.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Salary Range:
$40,000 to $50,000, dependent on experience and skill set.
