  • Westminster Regional School District is accepting application for a Middle School Science teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.
In alignment with the AWRSD mission and strategic vision, the teacher creates a learning environment where every student is known, challenged, and supported, preparing students to become contributing citizens in a rapidly changing world. The teacher promotes scientific literacy through inquiry-based learning, real-world applications, and student-centered instructional practices. Essential Responsibilities Plan and deliver rigorous science instruction aligned with the Massachusetts Science and Technology/Engineering Curriculum Frameworks.
  • Develop engaging lessons that incorporate inquiry, experimentation, engineering design, and real-world problem-solving.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse academic, social-emotional, and learning needs of all students.
  • Utilize data-driven instructional practices to monitor progress and improve student achievement.
  • Integrate technology and digital tools to enhance learning and support responsible use of resources.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment that reflects the district's commitment to equity and belonging.
  • Assess student learning using a variety of formative and summative measures and provide timely feedback.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student progress.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, special education staff, interventionists, and administrators to support student success.
  • Communicate effectively with students, families, and caregivers regarding academic progress and classroom expectations.
  • Participate in professional learning opportunities, faculty meetings, curriculum development, and school improvement initiatives.
  • Support school-wide programs and activities that promote positive school culture and community engagement.
