Job Description

We are seeking passionate and dedicated Montessori and EEC-credentialed educators to join our school community. The ideal candidate will create a warm, nurturing, and engaging environment where children feel safe, supported, and inspired to grow. Through the Montessori method and progressive best practices in early childhood education, the educator will guide each child's development with intention, respect, and care. This role requires a strong understanding of child development and child welfare, along with the ability to design and implement thoughtful, individualized care and learning plans that meet the unique needs of each child. We are looking for a collaborative team member who thrives in a dynamic school environment. The ideal candidate is both a self-starter and a co-teacher who enjoys working within a well-established program while also contributing fresh ideas, initiative, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Responsibilities include:
Prepare and maintain a prepared Montessori environment that supports independence and exploration Observe and guide children using developmentally appropriate Montessori practices Develop individualized learning and care plans aligned with each child's needs Foster a respectful, inclusive, and emotionally supportive classroom community Collaborate closely with co-teachers and school leadership Communicate effectively with families regarding progress and development Ensure the safety, well-being, and supervision of all children at all times Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings
Qualifications:
EEC certification (required or in progress, depending on role level) Montessori certification preferred Experience working with infants, toddlers, or primary-aged children preferred Strong understanding of child development and early childhood best practices Collaborative mindset with strong communication skills Ability to take initiative and work both independently and as part of a team
Pay:
From $25.00 per hour
