Working hours would be from 3:00pm-6:30pm, Monday-Friday. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. As a after school teacher you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing engaging curriculum while supporting the growth and development of elementary grade children. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that aligns with education standards. Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that promotes learning and exploration. Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly. Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support children's learning and development. Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their social, emotional, and cognitive development. Maintain clear communication with families regarding classroom activities, student progress, and any concerns. Experience Proven experience in a classroom setting, preferably in an elementary school. Strong understanding of curriculum taught at elementary level. Experience working with diverse groups of students. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
