Aug 17, 2026 Job Description The Middle School Spanish Teacher is responsible for delivering engaging, standards-based Spanish language instruction to students in grades 6-8 while supporting the mission of Trinity Catholic Academy in Brockton, MA. The teacher fosters a faith-centered, inclusive classroom environment that promotes academic excellence, cultural awareness, and the development of the whole child—spiritually, intellectually, and socially. Key Responsibilities include: Instruction & Curriculum
  • Plan and deliver rigorous, developmentally appropriate Spanish lessons
  • Develop students' proficiency in speaking, listening, reading, and writing in Spanish.
  • Integrate cultural studies of Spanish-speaking countries to build global awareness and appreciation.
  • Use a variety of instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs, including differentiated instruction. Assessment & Student Growth
  • Design and implement formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress.
  • Provide timely, constructive feedback to students and families.
  • Use data to inform instruction and support student achievement. Catholic Identity & School Mission
  • Uphold and model Catholic values in all interactions.
  • Incorporate elements of faith, service, and social justice consistent with Catholic teachings.
  • Participate in school liturgies, prayer services, and community-building activities. Classroom Environment
  • Establish a safe, respectful, and structured classroom rooted in positive behavior support.
  • Promote student engagement, accountability, and collaboration.
  • Support the social-emotional development of middle school students. Collaboration & Communication
  • Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary initiatives and curriculum development.
  • Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress and needs.
  • Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events.
