MOHAWK TRAIL REGIONAL SCHOOL DISTRICT

Mohawk Trail Regional School 2026-2027 School Year August 2026 start Middle School or High School Math Teacher•1.0 FTE•Certified Math educators The Mohawk Trail Regional School Math Program of Studies includes the Illustrative Math Curriculum in grades 7-8 and the Integrated Math (IM) curriculum for its three foundational high school courses. With this foundation, students have the option to enroll in a variety of advanced and elective mathematics coursework. Teachers in the department utilize a common core curriculum, lesson structure, assessments, and instructional approach for IM. Foundational courses are detracked, and department teachers are expected to provide a rigorous and supportive learning environment for all students. Department members are expected to be collaborative, committed to professional growth, and data-informed. It is the practice of department members to meet regularly, refine lessons and assessments, and examine student work to support strong student learning outcomes.

The qualified candidate will:

Middle School:

Have experience or commitment to teaching the Illustrative Math curriculum in heterogeneous classes that emphasize collaborative problem-solving, high expectations, and differentiated instruction.

High School:

Have experience with Integrated Math and or Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, Statistics, Data Systems, Pre-Calculus, and prefer experience with or willingness to prepare to teach AP Calculus Have an understanding of and commitment to inquiry-based learning Be able to collaborate with teachers in the department and our district Math Coach, and have experience in using data to support pedagogy Believe that all students can learn math to high levels and competencies to support student growth, and have a strong commitment to equity, differentiation Apply online at https://mtrsd.schoolspring.com/.
