The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, creates a positive environment, and helps students feel safe, supported, and engaged after the school day ends. Pay $20
  • 24/hour (based on experience) Monday-Friday 20 hours/week (September

  • August) Responsibilities Follow policies and procedures of the Cambridge YMCA Childcare Program Maintain knowledge of and comply with all health, safety, and EEC licensing regulations Manage day-to-day classroom operations Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and daily activities Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment Support children's social-emotional development and promote positive behavior Observe, document, and communicate children's progress Build respectful partnerships with families Work collaboratively with teaching team, Coordinator, and Assistant Coordinator Maintain confidentiality of YMCA children, families, and staff Communicate respectfully and appropriately with teaching team daily Attend a minimum of 20 hours of continuing education trainings annually Attend monthly staff meetings Qualifications (All Levels) Familiarity of EEC regulations and guidelines Current child and adult CPR/First Aid Completion of the 12 hour EEC 2.
