Hourly Pay:
$53.00 per teaching hour
Location:
Franklin High School
Schedule:
1-2 afternoons/evenings per week. The number of hours is dependent upon student enrollment. Applicant selects the day (Monday•Thursday) that works best for their schedule. Lessons are offered between 2:30-8:00 PM. Applicant can choose specific time frame within that, preferably at least three hours.
Benefits:
This position is NOT benefits eligible. Requirements Professional musician with prior experience teaching one-on-one lessons to students of varying abilities. Extensive knowledge of sheet music and curriculum appropriate to students of varying abilities. Offer will be contingent upon successfully passing Criminal Offender (CORI) background check and national fingerprinting screening (CHRI).
Anticipated Start Date:
September 2026. Exact date to be determined.
Additional Details:
Private music lessons are offered to elementary, middle school, and high school students, as well as adults. Instructors are Franklin Public Schools employees and are paid bi-weekly.
