Aug 31, 2026 Job Description Miles River Middle School is looking for a highly motivated, student-centered middle school science teacher. The candidate should have a solid understanding of Massachusetts Science Standards as they align and correspond to current state frameworks. The candidate will work closely with 8th grade science teachers and the science curriculum leader in order to implement and refine a school-wide science curriculum sequence. The teacher will engage students in a welcoming classroom environment that includes inclusive practices, development of analytical thinking skills, and experimentation as a way to develop their understanding of the world around them. Overall, we are seeking a candidate who builds relationships with students, families, and peers; is flexible, is comfortable working in a team setting, believes in instilling a love for science in all of their students and is interested in using technology to enhance student learning.
