Enrichment Educator The Community Group - 3.3 Lawrence, MA Job Details $30 - $40 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications CPR Certification First Aid Certification Teaching experience with young children Teaching Full Job Description The Enrichment Educators will design and implement project based activities. Programs designed must be interdisciplinary, hands-on, and both academically and developmentally appropriate.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in maintaining and environment that supports and encourages the growth and development of children; Ensure the care, safety, and well-being of children in the group; Provide a program inclusive to all children and families regardless of lifestyle and belief system; Participate in staff meetings, and on-going trainings; Complete all required certifications; and All other duties as assigned by your supervisor. K1-8 teaching experience and knowledge of Massachusetts frameworks is required; Willingness to learn about children's growth and development; Enthusiasm for project-based learning; creativity in planning; Willingness to accept feedback and to modify his/her project to ensure high-quality programming that meets DESE guideline; A strong understanding of children's developmental and academic needs; Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues; Ability to motivate and engage students in learning; Ability to build strong relationships in learning; Ability to build strong relationships with students and families; Completed CORI, SORI and fingerprint scan in accordance with regulations set forth by the Department of Early Education and Care; Evidence of physical examination within one year prior to employment; Evidence of immunizations against Measles, Mumps and Rubella; and Maintain current infant/child CPR and First Aid Certification.
