Group Leader Job Description:
Kidsborough is a before and after school enrichment program with locations throughout Massachusetts. We are inclusive, supportive, and our goal is to provide a safe environment for children as well as a rewarding experience for staff. Kidsborough is accepting applications for Group Leaders and Assistant Group Leaders in Canton, Grafton, Hopkinton, Medfield, Lexington and Winchester. A Group Leader will effectively assist children develop and strengthen academic, physical and social skills. Group Leaders will be responsible for implementing enrichment programming (i.e. poetry, art, drama, music, dance, etc.) while ensuring the health and safety of each child in the program.
Hours of operation:
after-school, Monday-Friday (minimum of two afternoons per week), some districts have before-school hours available-if interested, be sure to ask! Canton (2 locations): JFK

- 7:00AM-8:30AM & 3:00PM-6:00PM Grafton (4 locations): North Street

- 7:00AM-9:00AM Hopkinton (1 location): 7:00AM-9:00AM & 2:30PM-6:00
PM Lexington:
Monday-Thursday 3:00PM-6:00PM, Friday 12:00PM-6:00
PM Medfield:
3:00PM-6:00PM Winchester (5 locations): Monday-Friday 1:45PM-6:00
PM Required Skills/Abilities:
Thorough knowledge of EEC regulations within a school age program. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with adults and children. Ability to create a positive, safe, and nurturing environment for children. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to plan and implement activities.
Education and Experience:
Must meet EEC qualifications per state regulations for
Group Leader:
A group leader shall be at least 18 years of age and meet one of the following sets of requirements: a. Have a Bachelor's Degree or an Associate's Degree; and have three months of experience working with school age children; or b. Have a high school diploma or equivalent; and have six months of experience working with school age children including three months of supervised experience at a school age child care program; or c. Have nine months of experience with school age children including three months of supervised experience at a school age child care program.
