Jul 31, 2026 Job Description Minuteman is seeking instructors for a variety of academic classes. Courses are subject to sufficient enrollment. Courses with low enrollment may be canceled prior to the start date.
Major Responsibilities:
Implement and design program of study that meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of students. Create a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment. Maintain accurate attendance, grades, and student records. Prepare instructional materials, assignments, and assessments. Support credit recovery, remediation, or enrichment goals depending on the summer program structure.
Qualifications:
Prior teaching or substitute teaching experience required. Knowledge of the Massachusetts Frameworks for subject area. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.
Additional Requirements:
This position includes but is not limited to: interacting with the public, walking around the school, standing for periods, occasionally lifting and carrying items, reading documents, using a computer, listening and speaking, using office equipment, maintaining energy throughout the day, and handling stress effectively.
Terms of Employment:
Part-Time. Academic courses: 7/6/26-7/24/26. Hours will vary based on District and student needs. Typical workday is from 7:45am - 2:45pm.
Effective Dates of Employment:
July 6, 2026 - July 24, 2026.

Compensation:
Hourly rate: $65.00.
