Aug 24, 2026 Job Description Green Meadow Elementary is searching for Teachers who bring joy, creativity, and heart to the classroom. We encourage new teachers, and Spanish or Portuguese speaking teachers, to apply. Why Green Meadow? Because we're a warm, welcoming elementary school filled with curious learners, dedicated educators, and a community that truly cares. It's a place where creativity is encouraged, relationships matter, and teachers are supported to do their best work. Staff will be moving into a brand new building in January! A two day New Teacher Orientation will take place on August 24th and 25th. The first day of school for teachers will be August 28th. Grade 3 Teacher Create a collaborative and nurturing environment for students to learn and take risks Establish clear objectives for all lessons, units, and projects, and communicate those objectives to students Plan well-structured lessons that have varied learning experiences to meet student needs Guide and counsel students with adjustment and/or academic problems Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with students, families, and staff. Meet with parents and guardians to discuss their children's progress, and to determine their priorities for their children and their resource needs. Collaborates well with colleagues of diverse backgrounds on pedagogical approaches, curricular alignment including Universally Designed Learning, and instructional strategies Evaluate student progress which includes report cards and creating Student Success Team meeting notes when necessary The Teachers Union contract can be found at the below link.
