June 1, 2026 Most summer jobs supervise kids. This role does more than that. At Sigma Martial Arts & Fitness, we use martial arts as a vehicle for confidence, discipline, structure, and personal growth. Our summer program is designed for children ages 5-10. We are looking for reliable, energetic, professional team members who can help lead a safe, structured, positive experience for kids and families. Sigma's programs are built around intentional development, not chaos, not babysitting, and not filling time. This role is a strong fit for someone who has worked with children in coaching, teaching, sports, camps, after-school programs, childcare, or fitness and wants to do work that actually matters. What You'll Do Lead and supervise children ages 5-10 in a structured summer program Help manage daily transitions, routines, and group flow Support martial arts activities alongside lead instructors Supervise games, crafts, outdoor play, snack/lunch, and check-in/check-out Maintain strong classroom control and positive behavior standards Communicate professionally with parents at pickup and drop-off Help keep the studio clean, organized, and ready for the next activity Create a safe, positive, high-energy environment without losing structure What We're Looking For Experience working with children in a coaching, teaching, sports, camp, childcare, or fitness setting Strong leadership and communication skills Good judgment, professionalism, and reliability Ability to manage a group of children with structure and warmth Punctual and ready to work as part of a team Background in martial arts, wrestling, boxing, BJJ, MMA, karate, taekwondo, judo, or youth sports is preferred College students, education majors, school staff, coaches, and camp staff are encouraged to apply Requirements Must be at least 14 years old Must pass a background check and CORI check CPR/First Aid preferred Must be able to stand for long periods, demonstrate basic movements, and move mats/equipment Must be available Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM•4:00 PM for the program dates listed above Why Sigma Sigma is member-focused, structured, and serious about helping people grow.
