Summary of Position:

Milton Academy is seeking a Middle School World Language Teacher to start in August 2026. The Middle School world language teacher (covering 3 sections of latin, and ideally 1 section of French) fosters a dynamic and inclusive learning environment focused on innovative teaching practices and student engagement. The individual is also expected to actively support students, creating a positive classroom environment, and adjust teaching methods to support diverse learning styles as needed. This position primarily involves instructing courses in Latin, providing students with a profound understanding of classical languages, literature, and cultures. This role requires the development and ongoing review of curriculum and course materials.

Base Salary:

For the 2026-27 academic year, faculty salaries range from $50,000 to $120,000 annually. Placement within this range is determined by years of experience, in alignment with Milton Academy's faculty salary scale, which is designed to ensure equitable pay progression.

Housing Stipend:

Faculty members who reside off-campus will also receive an annual stipend of $13,000 (in 2026-27) in addition to the base salary listed above.
