St. Bernadette School is seeking a Social Studies Teacher to join our middle-school team. The ideal candidate should possess expertise in American and World History and a passion for Catholic education. He or she will aim to deliver instruction in an engaging and joyful manner.Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver engaging social studies lessons, fostering critical thinking and civic competence while encouraging reflection on the intersection of ethics and government. Cultivate a joyful and supportive classroom environment where students feel encouraged to evaluate historical events and contribute to class discussions. Collaborate with colleagues to encourage student learning and character formation. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to provide feedback on student progress.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Education, History, or a related field. Passion for the field of social studies. Commitment to refining the craft of teaching. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, students, and parents.
