WORK SCHEDULE
Program Schedule:
July 6th
  • July 30th from 8:00a.m
  • 1:00 p.m. Work Schedule Monday, July 5th
  • Thursday, July 30th from 7:45a.m
  • 1:15 p.
m.
DUTIES:
1. Responsible to the school Program Coordinator and Principal 2. Ensure the academic and social development of students throughout the course of the summer program 3. Help students master the fundamental skills of reading, writing, and mathematics while they explire college and career options. 4. Track/monitor student attendance and behavior 5. Supervise students during breakfast and lunch periods 6. Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor 7. Support the implementation of Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) where applicable
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Relates well to students, parents, and other teachers/staff members 2. Understands the interests and needs of Springfield Conservatory of the Arts most at-risk students 3. Computer/Internet aptitude 4. Bilingual applicants encouraged to apply 5. Highly qualified with required competency in the content area; and 6. Appropriate content/ program area educator license and grade level (8-12) licensure from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education; and 7. Bachelor's Degree with appropriate license; or 8. Master's Degree with appropriate content area license preferred and/or expected within 5 years.
