Middle School Spanish Teacher-Part Time The Language Project - 4.4 Baltimore, MD Job Details Part-time $30 an hour 20 hours ago Benefits Paid time off Qualifications School experience Spanish Collaboration English Teaching Full Job Description Are you fluent in Spanish and experienced working with middle school students? The Language Project is hiring a Spanish teacher for the 2026-2027 school year, with classes beginning in August. This position serves a partner school in the Baltimore area and focuses exclusively on middle school students (Grades 6-8) . We are seeking a confident educator who enjoys working with adolescents and can maintain a structured, engaging classroom environment.
Start Date:
August 2026
Schedule:
Tuesdays and Thursdays Approximately 7:30 AM - 2:30 PM Approximately 12-14 hours per week School-year position (August-June)
Additional Teaching Opportunities:
Candidates interested in additional hours may have the opportunity to teach on Mondays at a nearby partner school with a similar middle school setting , based on availability and interest.
Teaching Levels:
Middle school students only ( Grades 6-8 )

The Language Project Curriculum:
All teaching materials, lesson plans, and instructional support are provided Responsibilities Teach engaging Spanish classes using pre-designed curriculum and materials Maintain a positive, structured classroom environment for middle school students Demonstrate strong classroom management skills and age-appropriate student engagement Complete grading and classroom responsibilities as assigned Collaborate with school staff and The Language Project team Attend training sessions, workshops, and professional development as required Commit to the full academic year (August-June) Qualifications Fluency in Spanish Conversational English or higher Eligible to work in the U.S. Experience teaching or working with middle school students strongly preferred Experience working with adolescents in school, tutoring, or youth settings preferred Why Join The Language Project?
