Job Overview Join our vibrant team as an After School Program Staff member, where your enthusiasm and dedication will create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children during their crucial after-school hours. In this role, you will be instrumental in fostering positive development, supporting learning activities, and ensuring the well-being of children from diverse backgrounds. Your energy and commitment will help shape memorable experiences that promote growth, creativity, and confidence in every child you serve. Duties Supervise children during after school hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Implement engaging activities that promote childhood development, including arts and crafts, sports, games, and educational projects Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management techniques and positive reinforcement strategies Assist with homework help, tutoring sessions, or educational activities tailored to individual student needs Maintain a clean and organized environment, ensuring all safety protocols are followed diligently Qualifications Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, camp, tutoring, or childcare is highly desirable but not required. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development best practices Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and community partners Passion for nurturing children's growth through creative play, education, and emotional support Join us in making a meaningful difference in children's lives!
