Middle & High School Teacher (Grades 6-10) 15173 North Road, Fenton, MI 48430 From $45,000 a year - Part-time, Full-time From $45,000 a year - Part-time, Full-time Warda Foundation Academy is a growing microschool focused on hands-on, relationship-driven, and individualized education. We are currently seeking a full-time certified middle/high school teacher to work with a small mixed-age group of students in grades 6-10. This role is ideal for an educator who values creativity, flexibility, mentorship, and student-centered learning over traditional lecture-style teaching. About Our School Warda Foundation Academy is a small private microschool that blends elements of homeschool flexibility, project-based learning, individualized academics, and real-world experiences. Our students thrive in a supportive environment focused on growth, leadership, and meaningful relationships. Responsibilities Guide and support students academically in a mixed-age classroom environment Facilitate individualized and small-group instruction Help students stay organized, accountable, and engaged in their learning Support project-based and hands-on learning experiences Build positive relationships with students and families Work collaboratively with administration and staff to adapt curriculum and learning plans as needed Utilize online learning tools such as Google Classroom and educational platforms Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who: Holds a valid teaching certificate Is flexible, organized, and creative Enjoys working with mixed-age groups Values mentorship and relationship-building Can balance structure with individualized learning Is comfortable supporting students at varying academic levels Thinks outside the box and adapts well to a nontraditional learning environment Preferred Experience Middle school and/or high school teaching experience Experience with alternative education, homeschool education, Montessori, project-based learning, or small-group instruction is a plus Comfortable with technology and blended learning environments Position Details Full-time Small class sizes Supportive and collaborative environment Located in Fenton, Michigan If interested, please send your resume and a cover letter to Jasonwarda@gmail.com
