QUALIFICATIONS
Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate Must hold a DI endorsement Must meet Highly Qualified requirements Middle School grades 6-8 teacher certification
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of Next Generation Science Standards Dual certification in additional core area Experience working with Section 504 and Special Education students Experienced in incorporating the use of technology into lesson planning and delivery Engagement with diversity, equity, and inclusivity work Commitment to reflective practices and professional growth Willingness to participate in extra-curricular responsibilities (coaching, clubs, etc.)
SALARY AND BENEFITS
Salary placement is in accordance with the HEA Master Contract salary schedule. The district offers a competitive benefits package including health, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as Michigan Public School Employees' Retirement System (MPSERS) enrollment.
