Montessori Classroom substitutes

Lakes Area Montessori is looking for individuals with experience working in a childcare or school setting. We are also willing to train the right candidate. Individual must display a gentle/kind approach of communication with children and adults and be willing to work side by side our team to encourage a positive learning environment. Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Working alongside lead teachers and other assistants in the classroom setting.
• Monitoring and interacting with students and guiding them to work and learn.
• Sharing in the daily responsibilities of maintaining a clean classroom environment and following all the school policies and procedures including cleaning protocols.
• Willing to complete MI Registry Health and Safety classes per Childcare Licensing requirements.
• Willing to undergo fingerprinting and criminal background checks.
• speaks the English language
