Innocademy Zeeland offers a dynamic TK-8 learning environment that blends the strengths of public education with innovative approaches to curriculum, culture, and global engagement. With both Classic and Spanish Immersion tracks, we emphasize caring about the whole child which encompasses social emotional, academic, and general needs. As a small school with a strong family feel, we are seeking a Middle School Math Teacher who enjoys building relationships with students and helping them grow academically and socially. Our teachers have a meaningful voice in how the Academy operates. We create an engaging, flexible learning environment where educators can be creative and students thrive. This includes small class sizes, nature-based learning opportunities, and a balanced calendar.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver daily math instruction aligned to Michigan standards Differentiate instruction to meet a wide range of student needs Use assessment data to guide instruction and provide targeted support Build positive relationships with students and create a strong classroom culture Collaborate with grade-level and specials teachers to support the whole child Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress Maintain accurate records of student performance and growth Participate in school-wide initiatives, meetings, and professional development

Qualifications:

Valid Michigan teaching certificate with appropriate endorsement (EX) Strong understanding of middle school math content and best practices Ability to differentiate instruction to support a range of student needs Strong communication and collaboration with students, families, and colleagues Willingness to contribute to a small school environment and community
