Job Description

Description Now Hiring:
Summer School Age Camp Program Staff Pay Range:
$18.00 - $19.50 per hour
Status:
Temporary (Summer Position - Starts June 1, and Ends August 2026)
Location:
YWCA Midtown What You'll Do The Summer School Age Camp Program Staff plans, leads, and implements recreational and creative experiences for school-age children in a group setting. You will provide hands-on activities that promote healthy attitudes and lifestyles through safe, respectful, fun, and diverse learning experiences. Assist with writing and implementing weekly lesson plans. Organize and lead engaging activities such as arts and crafts, indoor and outdoor games, enrichment projects, and team-building experiences. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe program environment while supporting accurate recordkeeping (attendance, incident reports, evaluations, CACFP compliance if applicable).

Qualifications Required:
Minimum age of 18. Certifications required within 30 days of hire: Adult and Child CPR (or CPR/PR), First Aid, and AED. Ability to plan, organize, and lead age-appropriate activities. Strong communication, organization, and human relations skills. Willingness to work with diverse populations
Preferred:
