DESCRIPTION
St. Jerome School provides afterschool homework help sessions on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays for our K-8 students. They are grouped by K-2, 3-5 and 6-8. We are seeking teachers to facilitate these groups. The sessions meet T,W,Th from 3:15-4:15. Homework Help Teachers are paid from 3:15-5:15 to supervise pick up/playground time and make it worth your commitment. Paid work hours = 6 hours per week. Rate of pay begins at $18/hr. May be higher if more experience or if returning to the program. Perfect for responsible high school and college students and eager retirees. You'll be making a huge difference for our students. Homework Help will begin in the middle of September and runs through the middle of May. It is cancelled when school events conflict.
QUALIFICATIONS
~ Interest in working with youth. ~ Able to take initiative and be self-directed. ~ Math skills, one class would need middle school math skills. ~ Reading and writing skills. ~ Able to pass a background check and complete the Archdiocesan Essential 3 process
