Teacher for Summer Program-Full Time-Temporary

Duties Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to various age groups and developmental stages Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all children Facilitate activities that promote early childhood education, social interaction, and creativity Provide supervision during outdoor play, arts and crafts, theater performances, sports coaching sessions, and other camp activities Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times; administer first aid when necessary and maintain health and safety standards Support children with special needs or behavioral challenges through individualized attention and behavior management strategies Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and well-being Collaborate with fellow staff members to coordinate activities, manage daily schedules, and ensure a smooth program operation Qualifications Prior experience working with children in educational, childcare, camp, or daycare settings is highly preferred Strong classroom management skills with the ability to foster positive behavior and engagement Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Certification in first aid and CPR required; additional certifications in special education or Christian counseling are a plus Excellent communication skills to work effectively with children, parents, and team members Ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment with enthusiasm and energy Passion for working with children and supporting their growth through tutoring, babysitting, theater arts, sports coaching or similar activities Embark on an enriching summer journey where your dedication transforms children's lives!
