Job Summary St. Francis Borgia is seeking a faith-filled, knowledgeable, and dedicated Middle School Math Teacher to inspire and challenge students in grades 6-8 within a Christ-centered learning community. The ideal candidate is passionate about working with adolescents and committed to fostering academic excellence, spiritual growth, and strong moral character. Job Responsibilities The Middle School Math Teacher will provide engaging, standards-based instruction in assigned subject area(s), cultivate critical thinking and effective communication skills, and promote intellectual curiosity. Through purposeful planning, differentiated instruction, and ongoing assessment, the teacher will support diverse learners while maintaining high academic expectations. Rooted in the mission of Catholic education, this educator will intentionally integrate faith and Gospel values into daily instruction and classroom culture. The successful candidate will model integrity, compassion, and respect, helping students develop personal responsibility and a deeper relationship with Christ. Participation in school liturgies, prayer services, retreats, and service initiatives is expected. The Middle School Math Teacher will create a structured, positive, and developmentally responsive classroom environment that supports both independence and collaboration. Strong communication with families, partnership with colleagues, and active involvement in the broader school community are essential. Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or the relevant subject area
  • Valid state teaching certification
  • Middle school teaching experience (preferred)
  • Practicing Catholic (preferred)
  • Commitment to the mission and teachings of the Catholic Church
