Job Summary St. Francis Borgia Grade School is seeking a faith-filled, enthusiastic, and dedicated Middle School Religion Teacher to join our Christ-centered school community. This position serves students in grades 6-8 and offers a meaningful opportunity to help young adolescents grow in their faith, deepen their understanding of Catholic teaching, and recognize God's presence in their daily lives. The ideal candidate is passionate about Catholic education, enjoys working with middle school students, and is committed to forming the whole child: spiritually, academically, socially, and emotionally. We are looking for an educator who can inspire students to live their faith with confidence, compassion, integrity, and a heart for service. Job Responsibilities The Middle School Religion Teacher will provide engaging, age-appropriate instruction rooted in Catholic teaching, Scripture, prayer, tradition, and moral formation. Through purposeful lesson planning, meaningful discussion, reflection, and assessment, the teacher will help students grow in their understanding of the Catholic faith and apply Gospel values to their lives. The successful candidate will create a positive, structured, and developmentally responsive classroom environment where students feel respected, supported, and encouraged to ask thoughtful questions, reflect on their faith, and grow in personal responsibility. This teacher will help students strengthen their relationship with Christ while encouraging kindness, service, respect, and moral decision-making. Rooted in the mission of Catholic education, the Middle School Religion Teacher will intentionally integrate faith into daily instruction and classroom culture. The teacher will model Christian values through words, actions, and relationships, helping students understand the importance of prayer, service, compassion, and using their God-given gifts for the good of others. Participation in the faith life of the school is an important part of this role. The Middle School Religion Teacher will support and participate in school liturgies, prayer services, retreats, sacramental preparation when appropriate, service initiatives, and other faith-based activities that strengthen the Catholic identity of St. Francis Borgia Grade School. The teacher will also work collaboratively with colleagues, communicate effectively with families, and take an active role in the broader life of the school community. $30,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
