Overview:
Cary Learning Academy (CLA) is a growing K-12 education center focused on academic support, enrichment, and student confidence. We are seeking structured, student-focused instructors to lead our after-school academic program. Our after-school program primarily serves students in grades K-3 and focuses on structured academic support in a small-group setting.
Responsibilities:
This is an academically structured program — students are expected to complete guided academic work during sessions, with instructor support. Guide students through daily academic work, including math, reading, and writing assignments Provide targeted instruction and support to help students understand concepts Maintain a structured and productive classroom environment Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents and staff Support age-appropriate study habits, organization, and focus Ensure a safe and respectful classroom environment
Requirements:
Experience working with students in an academic or tutoring setting Strong classroom management and ability to lead a structured group environment Ability to explain academic concepts clearly (especially math and/or reading) Strong communication skills
Preferred:
Experience tutoring or teaching K-8 subjects Background in education, math, or English Teaching certification (not required)
